RET use the very latest CAD/CAM software to turn your engineering designs into precision machined components very quickly, subject to the machining feasibility but this can often be addressed through our ‘Design for Manufacture’ service.

Fastrack & Rapid Product Service

R E Thompson offer customers two services to reduce the lead time on CNC machining services as detailed below.

Fastrack Service (1/2 normal time)

This manufacturing service is designed for urgent CNC machining services requiring a faster than usual turnaround. Fastrack has a lead time of usually half that of our normal lead times.

Rapid Product Service (1/4 normal time)

This manufacturing service is available for very urgent deadline CNC machining services, and has a lead time of half that of our Fastrack service and a quarter that of our normal lead times.

An additional premium is charged on both the Fastrack CNC machining service and the Rapid Product CNC machining service to cover overtime and/or shift costs. These services are subject to a guarantee and should we ever fail to meet the agreed delivery date, the premium is non invoicable.

For all services, lead times will vary depending on the size and nature of the product/project. Deliveries are confirmed and agreed at time of order. In many cases we are able to accommodate our customers urgent delivery requirements with our standard service.
