Sales Office Assistant

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a self-motivated and driven individual who has previous experience within an Office Administrative role. You will need to be professional, highly organised, and efficient with a can-do attitude with an enthusiastic personality. Your strength will lie in your ability to take ownership of the role and stay in control of multiple projects and priorities to meet deadlines.

JOB DETAILS

  • Salary: Up to £28k per annum (pro rata)
  • Days: Monday to Friday.
  • Working Pattern: Hiring multiple candidates, approx. 20 hours a week, happy to build a pattern to suit both parties.
  • Job Type: Part Time, Permanent.
  • Location: Whitchurch.
  • Reports to: Head of Sales.

Key Tasks

  • Answering incoming calls & email messages.
  • Supporting the Sales team.
  • Develop and maintain efficient administrative systems.
  • Collaborate with the wider internal engineering team.
  • Keeping sales records.
  • Fill requests directly from customers, including requests for after sales support.
  • General administrative duties.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers in a professional, polite and respectful manner, ensuring all information has been received, and keep them informed of any issues.
  • Maintain sales records and compile monthly sales reports.
  • Creating and managing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Ad hoc task from the Managing Director and Head of Sales.

Skills

  • Experience of working in a customer-support role.
  • Good computer literacy skills – Microsoft.
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Able to work well both as part of a team and independently.
  • Proactive approach maintaining a high level of productivity of all tasks and functions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, telephone manner and interpersonal skills.
  • A pro-active attitude.
  • A natural team player.
